Technical Colleges Credit Transfer Agreement

Madison Area Technical College (MATC), Madison, Wisconsin

Student who have completed a 2-year AA or AS degree in liberal/general studies with MATC, will meet all general education requirements at UW-Platteville, with the exception of the race/gender studies requirement. If a student does not take a race/gender studies course as part of the degree at MATC, then they can complete BSAD 3340 Gender, Race, and Management with UW-Platteville. This course will count toward the genereal education requirement and the business administration major. This agree is in effect, beginning with anyone who graduated with an AA or AS degree in Spring 2003.


Nicolet Technical College, Rhinelander, Wisconsin

Student who have completed a 2-year AA or AS degree in liberal/general studies with Nicolet Technical College, will meet all general education requirements at UW-Platteville, with the exception of the race/gender studies requirement. If a student does not take a race/gender studies course as part of the degree at Nicolet Technical College, then they can complete BSAD 3340 Gender, Race, and Management with UW-Platteville. This course will count toward the genereal education requirement and the business administration major. This agree is in effect, beginning with anyone who graduated with an AA or AS degree in Spring 2003.


Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Illinois Community Colleges Illinois

Effective for students whose degree was posted in the fall 1996 or later, effective Fall of 1996, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will accept the Associate of Arts and Science degree for all Illinois Community Colleges. This degree, from the Illinois System, will ensure that all students wishing to transfer to UW-Platteville will have met all university general education requirements.

Northeast Iowa Community College Peosta, Iowa

The Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree from Northeast Iowa Community College will be deemed to have met the general university requirements, both competency and liberal arts requirements at UW-Platteville, with the exception of ethnic and gender studies requirements. This applies to associate degrees granted on or after December 3, 2003.
