This course will provide an in-depth overview of the administration and management of criminal justice organizations with an emphasis on police entities. Students in this course will be exposed to a theoretical and conceptual framework which may be used to analyze and more effectively deal with the complexities of contemporary issues confronting law enforcement administrators. Although centered on the law enforcement environment, the principles and issues discussed in this course would be appropriate for administrators in any criminal justice environment.
