UWP's distance students constitute a diverse group of varying ages and lifestyles. They're small business owners, police officers, military personnel, federal criminal investigators, project engineers and Six Sigma professionals. Some study during lunch breaks, others while family members are sleeping. They're a generational mixture of Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Millennials. Some are embarking on new careers, others are seeking advancement in their current professions. They live throughout North America and abroad. Despite all of their differences, UWP's distance students share one common goal: they wish to earn a degree that will enrich their lives.
