Harry Mitchell Portfolio Scholarship
The Harry Mitchell Portfolio Scholarship was established in 1988 in memory of the late Harry Mitchell, who was director of the Extended Degree Program in Business Administration from 1980 to 1982. Dr. Mitchell strongly advocated the concept of experiential credit and laid the foundation for the Extended Degree's portfolio process, which matches the competencies of course work with those gained through experience. The scholarship is awarded to the student who prepares the most thorough and professional portfolio. Its recipients include:

BIC Bucks Scholarship
The BIC Bucks Scholarship provided a grant of $100 to the student who showed evidence of notable accomplishment in his or her course work and was nominated by a faculty member. The scholarship was funded through the sale of the College of Business, Industry, and Communication (BIC) cookbook. In some years, the BIC chapter of the Alumni Association doubled the scholarship. Outstanding Student Award
