|Course Description:||The purpose of Business Administration 4950, Special Topics: Portfolio Development, is to aid you in writing your portfolio. The portfolio is the means by which the faculty of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s can assess your prior work and life experiences for the possible granting of college credit. The prior learning experiences must be equated to college-level learning.|

Upon completion of the course, you should be able to

- Translate your prior life and work experience into college-level learning.
- Compile a meaningful collection of evidence that will support the learning experience.
- Develop a portfolio that can be used in assessing prior experiential learning.

Grading Criteria for Activities
Upon successful completion of the portfolio, a grade of P will be given for the BSAD 4950 Portfolio Development course. This grade will be granted after you have submitted the number of challenges related to the number of credits you have registered for in BSAD 4950. The number of credits indicated on your enrollment plan for this course (1–3 credits) will be awarded in addition to the credits granted through the evaluation of the portfolio challenges. No grades will be transcribed for the individual course credits granted through evaluation. The courses will simply be listed on your transcript with the number of credits granted.
