After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Eric spent several years handling commercial auto claims for Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point, WI. Eric then moved to Madison to pursue a graduate degree and work as a graduate hall director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During those two years, Eric co-supervised a staff of 18 resident assistants and enjoyed providing support and guidance to the nearly 1200 residents of Witte Hall. Upon completion of his Master's program, Eric's passion for student success led him out of Madison and on to his current advising role in Distance Education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.

Personal Information:
Eric enjoys the changing seasons of Wisconsin, especially when they provide opportunities to kick around a soccer ball. In his spare time, Eric likes to read fantasy novels, take walks, and fix things. Every April, Eric attempts to stay awake for 54 hours to participate in the world's largest trivia contest in his hometown of Stevens Point. During the long Wisconsin winters, however, Eric can be found eating popcorn and watching movies with his wife or playing exceedingly complicated board games with friends.
