Jarrard conducts courses in legal and ethical behavior, marketing, consumer behavior and global organizations. His research interests are in the area of Services Marketing.
Jarrard has served as Account Manager for PDM, Inc; Account Manager and Continuous Improvement Team Leader for Russel Metals-Bahcall Group; Department Manager and Area Manager for Target Stores; and Sales Representative for Steel Warehousing, Inc.
In the fall of 2003 he was certified by the Academy of Dispute Resolution as a Certified Mediator. In 2005 the Midwest Business Administration Association conference selected Jim to review submitted papers and act as a moderator for the conference MALSB track. He was also chosen by the American Marketing Association as a paper reviewer for the Summer 2005 AMA Educators Conference Services Marketing track.
He was also the National program director for the Global Business and entrepreneurship program for Lead America in Summer 2005. The Lead America program focus on developing skills in talented and gifted high school student from across the nation. See the web site at: http://www.lead-america.org.
