Thomas S. Collins has been an associate professor in the UW-Platteville School of Business since 2011. He has over 27 years of college teaching experience. He worked as a certified public accountant in California and Iowa, and began teaching full time in the fall of 1988.
Professor Collins has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in accounting and business administration, and served as an attorney of counsel for over fifteen years at O’Connor & Thomas, the oldest law firm west of the Mississippi, in the areas of corporation and business law.
He has given numerous speeches and presentations in various areas of accounting and business law and has conducted workshops on creative and critical thinking strategies for students. He has written one textbook and numerous articles in the business field.
