Course Description:    In this course, we consider ways in which ethical theories inform concrete deliberations in business. Taking prevailing normative orientations as our paradigms, we treat (1) the justification of moral principles, (2) their specification, and (3) their application in real-life contexts. In our attention to contemporary case-studies, in particular, we suggest ethics is not only good living but good business.

  • Unit 2: Business Ethical Principles, Policies, and Practices Regarding Corporations and Employees in America and Abroad
  • Unit 3: Common or Conflicting Interests and Rights for Companies, Citizens, and the Global Community; Issues of Privacy, Truth, and Information for Workers and Businesses
