Professional Experience
Bromley is a professor in the department of psychology and coordinator of the Master of Science in Education Adult Education program at UW-Platteville. She teaches graduate courses in abnormal psychology, theories of personality, techniques of counseling, group counseling, and career counseling. She was the 1993 recipient of the UW-Platteville Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence and the 2004 University Continuing Education Association College Course Award (a national award). The MSE Adult Education program which she coordinates won the very first UW-System Diversity Award in 2009.

Bromley’s research interests include coping with bereavement, family relationships, self-efficacy, and attachment theory. She has presented a number of papers at regional, national, and international conferences and is a member of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, and the Midwest Psychological Association.

Bromley is also a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

Personal Information
Bromley lives in Whitewater, Wisconsin, and enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling with her husband.
