The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, a leader in distance education for over 35 years, was selected as a top school in Military Advanced Education & Transition’s 2016 Guide to Colleges & Universities.

From community colleges to state universities, online universities and nationally known centers of higher learning, MAE&T’s 2016 Guide to Colleges & Universities arms students with information about institutions that go out of their way to give back to our men and women in uniform.

Now in its ninth year of publishing the guide, MAE&T takes into consideration the best practices in military and veteran education that are most relevant. Institutions are evaluated on their military culture, financial aid, flexibility, online support and on-campus support.

“Receiving this designation is a great honor. It acknowledges our commitment to providing a quality education to both our active military and veteran students no matter where they are—across the country or on the other side of the world,” said Dawn Drake, executive director of Alternative Delivery Systems for UW-Platteville.
