Participation Reminder

Due to increased federal regulations, UW-Platteville is required to verify that all enrolled students are participating in courses prior to the census date of each semester. All students will be required to demonstrate participation in each of their courses by completing the UW-Platteville Participation Policy discussion prior to the census date of each semester. You may review the Participation Policy for more details.  

To comply with federal regulations, students need to complete the participation policy in their courses by June 8. Students who have not completed this activity will be administratively dropped from any course in which the participation policy has not been completed.

There are financial consequences if you are dropped. If you use financial aid, you may lose financial aid eligibility for the semester. Any financial aid funds disbursed to your student account or refunded to you must be returned by the University to the U.S. Department of Education. You will be responsible for the balance due on your account as a result of this action. For students not using financial aid, you may be eligible for a refund. Information regarding refunds can be viewed in the Drop/Refund Agreements
