Joint International Master's Degree in Computer Science
University of Wisconsin - Platteville, USA
Hochschule Darmstadt, Germany
James Cook University, Townsville, Australia
The above three universities have joined together to offer an international
master's degree in computer science. Students take classes from at least
two schools: their "home" institution and one of the partner institutions.
Depending on the student, the program can be completed in three or four
semesters. There is a wide variety of courses available ranging from the
traditional such as advanced networking and computer graphics to newer
courses such as computer security and mobile computing. Students
obtain a truly international experience, both from living abroad and from
studying and working with students from other cultures.
Students can enter the program at UW-Platteville in either the fall or spring
semesters. Students typically spend a semester in Platteville and then go
to either Townsville,
Australia or
Darmstadt,
Germany. They then return to Platteville to finish the program.
