WELCOME

UW-Platteville's Office of Continuing Education (OCE) now offers coursework for a concentration in Cultural Arts Management, in the graduate program in Adult Education. OCE provides stand-alone graduate courses to develop specific abilities and knowledge - for arts educators meeting re-certification requirements, arts entrepreneurs honing their business skills, arts administrators running cultural organizations, or for anyone interested in applying the arts, management, and education to promote the arts in our lives.

Arts

Courses allow students to develop their potential for creativity and innovation and to appreciate the role of the arts in our lives as individuals and as members of communities and organizations.

Management

Courses prepare students to run their own arts-related businesses and to manage community organizations charged with preserving, interpreting, and expanding our artistic, creative, cultural and historic assets and resources.

Adult Education

Courses provide students with a strong foundation of skills to bring creativity and innovation, business and management together - to provide stimulating educational experiences for arts workers, business professionals, and community members. This group of courses is offered through the School of Education.
