Adult Education Emphasis - 12 credits
Foundation (3 credit minimum)
- Courses address fundamental concepts of policy process, planning, analysis, human relations, and psychology appropriate to adult education.
- Weekend course that meets this requirement:
Public Relations in School and Community
(3 credits)
Research (3 credit minimum)
- Courses deal primarily with research methodology appropriate to adult education, including data collection procedures and interpretation of research studies related to student's area of concentration.

Research Procedures (3 credits)
Theories of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment (3 credit minimum)
- Courses include current theories of learning, the nature of the adult learner, instructional development, evaluation, and management of the teaching-learning process.

The Adult Learner (3 credits)
Curriculum (3 credit minimum)
- Courses address instructional strategies in teaching adults, concepts and procedures in developing adult education programs, organizational analysis and management.

Program Planning for Adults (3 credits)
Cultural Arts Management Concentration - 18 credits
- Courses related to student's educational needs.
