In this high-tech age, handmade gifts capture a special place in our hearts. Participants in this one day enrichment program will have the opportunity to learn the basics of sewing machine use and instruction on 2 creative project ideas.

Students are pick two out of the three possible classes listed below for session 1 and 2. Availability depends on enrollment.
Sewing 101
Want to express yourself and learn a treasured skill? This project will give students direct access to a sewing machine to create their own drawstring backpack.
Fabric Yo-yo's
Fabric yo-yos are fun and super easy to make! You can make yo-yos in various sizes to embellish a favorite t-shirt, a purse or a ponytail elastic.
Handmade Ornaments
Glue, paint, yarn, felt, thread, glitter….we have it all to inspire students to make unique ornaments. We know these "little treasures" will be loved for years!
