What is College for Kids and Middle University?
A summer academic enrichment program for students in K-4th grade (College for Kids) and students in 5-7th grade (Middle University). Our program emphasizes the arts, science and technology fields. We encourage students who are active listeners and involved in their education to register.

When will classes be held?
July 7-10, 2008
Monday through Thursday
12:30 PM - 4:00 PM

What are the grade levels and class times?
Kindergarten: Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, and 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Grades 1 & 2: Monday through Thursday, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM, and 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Grades 3 & 4: Monday & Tuesday, and/or Wednesday & Thursday, 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM*
Grades 5, 6 & 7: Monday & Tuesday and/or Wednesday & Thursday, 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM*
* Students in grades 3-7 can choose to attend all 4 days (2 classes) or 2 days (1 class). See fees below.

Where will the classes be held?
Classes are held on the University of Wisconsin - Platteville campus unless otherwise noted.

Is there a limit on enrollment?
We feel that students have a better chance of succeeding in classes that are small. Class size is limited.

What is the fee for each session?
Fees cover instruction, materials, and T-shirt.
Option A: 4 days (Monday through Thursday), 2 classes, $95 (Caves and Rivers has an additional $10 fee)
Option B: 2 days, 1 class option for grades 3-7 only, Monday/Tuesday, or Wednesday/Thursday, $50

What is the registration deadline?
June 20 is the registration deadline. Registrations and payment will only be accepted after June 20 as space allows.

Will I receive a confirmation?
Confirmation letter and map will be sent by July 1.

Will there be any cancellations?
If a class does not have enough students registered we will automatically put your child in their next choice.

What is your refund policy?
June 23 at 4:00 PM, payments can be refunded less a $15 processing fee. No refunds after June 23. (Substitutions will be considered.) Cancellations must be received during business hours 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM.

Is there parking available?
parking is available in all commuter parking lots.

Where should we meet, and will my child be supervised?
For children attending College for Kids or Middle University, parents should arrive on campus with your child(ren) and meet on the lawn between Doudna and Warner Hall at 12:15 PM. Students line up behind class signs. Instructors and/or teacher assistants will accompany students to their classes. Please be prompt in picking up your child. Supervision ends at 4:15 PM.

Will my child receive a T-Shirt?
College for Kids and Middle University T-shirts are provided for students who enroll by the June 22nd registration date.
