Learn the principles of Love and Logic and how they apply to toddlers and preschoolers. You will learn to take good care of yourself by teaching children to be more responsible. You will learn techniques that will leave you feeling more relaxed at the end of the day. You will learn how to be a more confident parent and/or teacher. And, you will learn how to have more fun with the children in your lives.

We will share ideas that motivate students through the use of music/ movement and literature. We will be writing lyrics for songs, reading "toe tapping" books and having fun with rhythm and rhyme.

A8. CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE—WHAT CAN WE DO TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SAFE?
Protecting children from sexual abuse is something we all need to be concerned about. Discuss myths and facts about child sexual abuse, along with indicators of abuse, how to handle disclosures, and how to incorporate touching safety rules into overall safety guidelines. Handouts provided.

What makes a great ABC book? This session exposes participants to over 50 books celebrating the alphabet. Participants will receive a list of books titles and have a chance to examine many ABC books.

A11. GROUP and FAMILY CHILDCARE RECORDKEEPING FOR SUCCESS and TIPS FOR MAINTAINING A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT
Licensed family childcare centers are required to maintain files for children, staff and center operations. Required forms and information will be reviewed including how to organize and maintain center files for compliance with childcare regulations. The session will include tips to promote health and hygiene in the family childcare environment to prevent illness including how common diseases spread, preventing respiratory infections and the importance of sanitation.

B1. LOVE and LOGIC SESSION II
In this follow-up session, you will take your previous knowledge of Love and Logic and learn how to apply the principles to day-to-day situations with children. You will learn how to neutralize arguing so children can think more about their behavior and feel more loved by the adults in their lives. You will learn how to set limits that you can enforce. You will learn how to give effective choices so that children begin to learn how to make their own decisions. And, you will learn how to deliver consequences so that you can create a learning opportunity for children.

B3. SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME PREVENTION TRAINING
Shaken baby syndrome prevention education for school age students became mandatory with the passing of the Prevent Violence Act of 2006. In order that districts are in compliance, this training provides the opportunity to have individuals be trained by a licensed trainer. (Session B and C must be taken together)

C10. WHAT TO DO WHEN SCHOOLS OUT—SENSATIONAL SUMMER CAMP!
Come hear about the successful summer camp started by Kid's Stuff in Richland Center. Learn how they applied for a camp status, created a budget, utilized local resources, and planned sensational summer excursions for their center. Bottom line—this is a profitable program.

C11. KEEPING OUR CHILDREN SAFE—CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT PREVENTION AWARENESS
This session will review regulatory requirements for childcare providers as mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect, identify types of abuse and neglect, increase awareness of identifying signs and indicators of child neglect and abuse, and the importance of documentation.
