The 21st annual Early Childhood Conference is coming up on Saturday, March 29, 2008. This will be a great opportunity for you to showcase and sell your products and services.
Over 350 early childhood teachers, administrators, childcare providers, and advocates visited the exhibits last year. In 2008 we expect the number of conference participants to exceed last year's attendance figures.
We are moving along with planning for the 2008 Early Childhood Conference—to be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 on the UW-Platteville campus. A few changes have been made because not only is our community growing but UW-Platteville is expanding as well. In years past, the event has been held in a variety of buildings. This year the entire conference will be in the newly remodeled Ullsvik Hall on the UW-Platteville campus. We're thrilled to have Stuart Stotts as our Keynote speaker, and Karen McCaa as our General Session presenter. The theme we are developing for the conference is "Celebrate and Create Connections."
Platteville is located in the heart of rural southwest Wisconsin; therefore the majority of our registrants come from rural communities where few teacher supply stores are found. As a result, supplies must be purchased from catalogs or online. Teachers are not able to see the products or know that the item is just what they want. Take advantage of the opportunity to sell your goods directly to the buyer.
To maximize your selling potential, this year we will add a coupon book to give to your potential buyers. We would like all vendors to participate in this marketing opportunity. You just need to design you own coupon (one-sided) and we will put you in our book. Some possibilities are: 10% off, free promotional items, buy one get one 50% off, etc. Just let us know on the registration form what coupon you would like to have to entice your customers to come to your booth.
Space in the exhibit hall will be assigned in advance. Vendors are to provide their own table covering. The exhibits may be set up Friday, March 28, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. or Saturday, March 29 from 6:30-7:30 A.M. All exhibits must be in place by 7:30 A.M. The cost for one six-foot table is $55.00. The cost for two six-foot tables is $90.00. Three or more tables are an additional $25 per table. A box lunch, coffee break, and refreshments during set up are included with your table reservation.
We appreciate any donations you wish to make toward door prizes. We will automatically sign up participants for door prizes. You may set up your own display/giveaway for items you donate.

Alternatively, you may print a fax/mail-in version of our vendor registration form, complete it, and either fax it to (608)342-1454 or mail it to the address below.
