UW-Platteville’s Office of Continuing Education seeks workshop presenters for the 2010 Early Childhood Conference.  This annual event is sponsored by UW-Platteville in partnership with UW-Extension.  Between 250-350 family childcare providers, group childcare teachers and administrators, public and private school early childhood personnel, college students, and family service agency representatives are expected to attend.

Our Keynote Speaker is Jane Kitson presenting YOUR ATTITUDE AFFECTS YOUR ALTITUDE…PUT ON YOUR SMILE AND LET’S HAVE SOME FUN!  Jane Kitson a.k.a. Mother Goose is a national early childhood educational consultant and published author from Atlanta, GA.  She has shared high energy, hands-on Keynotes and Workshops with over 80,000 educators at educational venues in 46 states and Canada. Her sessions are described by teachers as: “user friendly, inspiring and FUN!”  Be prepared to wiggle, clap and learn while doing!

The Early Childhood Conference provides educators with the opportunity to showcase successful programs, promote exceptional strategies, and share innovative ideas.  You affect the lives of children every day.  Each experience you share with children adds to your growing wealth of information about how they grow and develop.  Please consider sharing your insights and understandings, perspectives and practices, strategies and success stories with other early childhood professionals.

Your contribution to this conference is valuable.  If you are selected as a presenter, we invite you to choose one of the following for compensation:
●    conference registration (~$55 registration fee);
●    $50 honorarium per presentation;
●    waiver of conference registration and honorarium (THANK YOU for helping us keep
conference fees to a minimum!)

Submissions due by Monday, October 26, 2009.  Successful applicants will be notified by November 4, 2009.
