BEST wants Quality Affordable Universal Broadband

BEST is advocating for progress on telecommunications infrastructure at the local, regional and state level.  BEST is currently working with academic leaders including the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, UW-Extension, and K-12 schools, plus libraries, local and county governments and WiscNet.

We welcome more individuals and organizations as partners to hasten the day when access to quality, affordable broadband is available in every valley and every hilltop in the region and the State of Wisconsin.

Broadband will add educational opportunities, streamline and improve health care delivery and enable entrepreneurs and employers to create the jobs and wealth. The entire community will benefit when all of its members have access to quality, affordable broadband.

BEST will seek to work with the private sector firms that have applied for federal stimulus funds and have included our region in their plans, as well as all interested public entities.
