ARTSBUILD COMMUNITY CONVERSATION AND POTLUCK

Dodgeville, Wednesday, September 16th, 4:30 - 8:00 PM Join your fellow artists for a casual evening of networking and good food. We'll have a paint and fabric-based project going for anyone who wants to get in on the ground floor of creating a "sustainable meeting kit", starting at 4:30 (materials provided). Dinner at 6:00. Bring a sample of your artwork to share for discussion and instruments for a musical jam afterward! We'll be at the Centennial Park shelters in downtown Dodgeville. PAINTING EVENT!

Platteville, September 21 - 26

An eco-friendly unused paint collection and subsequent painting event is being held in downtown Platteville. Paintings will be made from donated materials - or bring your own! The event also includes live music, a "stand still parade", a paintball toss, and finally an auction of the completed canvases. Sign up to be a participating artist, musician, volunteer or sponsor! CERAMICS WORKSHOPS

Bethel Horizons' Art Ventures is now offering weekly pottery classes for all levels ($195 for ten weeks). Their beautiful new clay studio overlooks the hills of Governor Dodge State Park! Whether you are a total beginner or looking for a place to fine-tune your existing clay skills, you are welcome to join one of our sessions.. Small class size allows for plenty of one-on-one instruction by artists-in-residence Aaron Weaver and Krista Loomans. Graduate and undergraduate credit may be available.
