Bio: I grew up on a farm in rural Platteville and attended one-room country schools as a child. After graduating from Platteville High School in 1966 I received an art education degree from the U.W. Platteville and for the next 36 years I taught junior high and middle school art in Lancaster, Wi., retiring in 2006. My realistic acrylic paintings reflect my interesst in preserving the images of our ever disappearing rural landscape of old farm-steads, gas stations, feed stores, and others that were a part of my growing up.
