Bio: Suzanne Miller is a Northern Wisconsin native who now resides in Monroe, WI. Her work includes sculpture created from recycled materials, contemporary acrylic paintings, scenic design, mural painting, illustration and graphic design. Her background in graphics and children’s theatre is very evident in her work. Whether it be the crisp colorful lines of a contemporary painting of fire or a whimsically shaped recycled alien sculpture, Miller always reaches for the “wow” factor. Her work, always large in scale, is meant to appeal to a wide range of audience. She states, “ Each piece draws you in like its own mini-theatrical production. You know there is a story behind each work”. In addition to her artwork, Miller is an elementary art teacher, Gallery Director at the Monroe Arts Center and a Theatre Management Consultant for the Monroe Theatre Guild.
