Bio: Painting with paper is a unique multi dimensional form of art. Creations are produced using thousands of pieces of hand torn paper of varying colors and textures to form detailed landscapes and florals. The driftless region of Wisconsin inspires most of the scenes. Painting with paper allows for an incomparable interpretation of farm fields, wild flowers and the majestic views of the Mississippi. Barb also works in ceramics. Free Form pottery is inspired by the shapes and forms of nature. This pottery, extremely functional and practical, is formed over rocks, wood, squash and melons. Barb’s work is on display at State Street Gallery in La Crosse, and VIVA Gallery in Viroqua.
