Continuing Education

Payment Options

As part of instituting and installment payment option for teacher recertification, the Office of Continuing Education wants to be as clear as possible concerning payment options available to students. These options are outlined below.

  1. Payment In Full
Here you register for a class and use your debit or credit card online for payment in full. As an option, you can send us a check for the full amount. When paying in full, your registration form is sent immediately to the Registrar's office.

  2. UWP Billing Plan
Under this option, you are sent a bill from UWP and are given 30 days to pay before the account starts to accrue interest at 1% per month. Your registration form is sent immediately over to the registrar's office. To avoid interest charges, payment should be made in full. Payment is by check.

  3. OCE Installment Plan
The OCE Installment Plan allows students to pay 1/3 of tuition via credit card or debit card at the time of registration. Then the student makes two subsequent payments via credit card or debit card during a two month period following registration. Payment instructions are e-mailed to students following registration if they choose the OCE Installment Plan when registering. Payments by check will not be accepted as part of the OCE Installment Plan. Registration for classes is forwarded to the Registrar's Office only after the final installment payment has been made. No interest is charged if the OCE Installment Plan procedures are followed. If the OCE Installment Plan option is chosen at the time of registration, but a payment is not made at registration time, then the installment plan is terminated and the registration for the course is forwarded to the Registrar's Office for collection under the UWP Billing Plan provisions.
