The PERSONNEL OFFICE notifies the CABINET and PERSONNEL COMMISSION of employees eligible for multi-year, rolling horizon or indefinite appointments.

The ACADEMIC STAFF MEMBER shall submit the documentation demonstrating eligibility (see criteria listed under definitions) to their IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR at or before the Annual Evaluation Conference.
 
NOTE: The employee is responsible for submitting the documentation if the request is initiated in the fifth or sixth year of service. If the employee has seven or more years of service, the review will be initiated by the supervisor.
 
a. IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR completes the UW-PLATTEVILLE ACADEMIC STAFF JOB SECURITY FORM within 10 working days of the Annual Evaluation Conference.
 
b. The EMPLOYEE has five working days after receiving a negative response to request, in writing, an appeal to the AREA HEAD or DEAN (next level of review).

The documents are submitted to the AREA HEAD or DEAN.
 
a. The AREA HEAD or DEAN reviews the documents and completes the JOB SECURITY FORM within 10 working days.
 
b. The EMPLOYEE has five working days after receiving a negative response to request, in writing, an appeal to the ACADEMIC STAFF PERSONNEL COMMISSION.

The documents are submitted to the ACADEMIC STAFF PERSONNEL COMMISSION.
    a. The ACADEMIC STAFF PERSONNEL COMMISSION reviews the documents and completes the JOB SECURITY FORM within 10 working days.
    b. The EMPLOYEE has five working days after receiving a negative response to request, in writing, an appeal to the PROVOST.
45 Working Days from Day 1

The documents are submitted to the PROVOST or ASSISTANT CHANCELLOR.
    a. The PROVOST or ASSISTANT CHANCELLOR reviews the documents and completes the JOB SECURITY FORM within ten working days.
    b. The EMPLOYEE has five working days after receiving a negative response to request, in writing, an appeal to the CHANCELLOR.

The documents are submitted to the CHANCELLOR.
    a. The CHANCELLOR reviews the documents and completes the JOB SECURITY FORM within 10 working days.
    b. CHANCELLOR'S decision is final.
