The professional engineering courses are taught by UW-Platteville faculty and streamed during live classroom lectures from UW-Platteville, UW-Fox Valley, and UW-Rock County. These courses use the online learning environment called Learn@UW. Activities that take place in this environment are discussion boards, quizzes, collaboration for groups, and the uploading and downloading of files.
Textbooks are issued to students for their professional engineering course(s) through the UW-Platteville Textbook Rental System. Textbooks are delivered to the local UW Colleges campus for the students to pick up.
If the course includes a lab component, UW-Platteville lab managers will be at the UW Colleges campuses on a regularly scheduled basis to facilitate the required lab work.
Exams are proctored through pre-approved proctors at the UW Colleges or through special arrangements made with the Collaborative Engineering Program Coordinator. For more information, see the Proctor Information.
