Favorite Quote: "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." -Herb Brooks

Favorite Book: 1984, by George Orwell

Favorite Movie: Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan

Favorite Chemistry Joke: Did you hear about the man who cooled himself to absolute zero? He's 0K now.

Favorite Food: Sushi is quickly climbing my list of favorite foods.

Something interesting that people don't know about me: In high school, I drove a pink Geo Tracker.

Post-Graduation Plans: After graduation, I plan to attend graduate school. I would prefer a school somewhere on the west coast, but I'm not too picky.

I chose my major because: I was lucky enough to be exposed to research as a freshman and was instantly infatuated with the subject of chemistry.

Advice to incoming freshmen: Don't panic! There are plenty of resources both on campus and off that can help you through almost any dilemma. Working hard and being conscientious are important, but don't forget to let loose and relax every now and then. A proper balance will benefit you greatly.
