Facilities

In 2009 we moved into the newly built Engineering Hall. The facilities include a state-of-the-art optics lab, sensors lab (with high-end electronics instrumentation), a Modern Physics lab, and two computer/student workspace labs. Lastly, we have our very own electronics and wood/metal machine shop that are accessible to students in order to support the multitude of projects throughout the year.

Engineering Hall is the newest classroom building on campus and home to the Engineering Physics program (along with Electrical Engineering). One tremendous advantage of the new building is that we were able to request specific facilities during the planning phase, including state-of-the-art "studio" classroom space, a research-grade optics lab, and a combination metal/wood shop dedicated to Engineering Physics.
