Pouring Solids

Hold a container with its label facing your hand. Tilt the bottle towards the vessel to which you are transferring solid, and roll the bottle back and forth until the desired amount of solid is transferred into the new vessel.

Do not use a spatula to transfer solid unless directed to by your instructor, since any chemicals clinging to the spatula will contaminate the chemical you are attempting to transfer.
