Filling the volumetric pipet

Draw liquid past the graduation mark on the neck of the pipet. With your thumb or finger, control the flow of liquid and align the meniscus with the graduation. Touch the tip of the pipet to the inside of the flask or beaker from which the pipet was filled to remove the drop hanging from the tip.
