Rinsing the Pipet

Rinse the clean pipet with the solution you are going to pipet.

Draw 2-3 ml portions of the solution into the pipet using suction from the rubber bulb.

Roll the pipet so that the entire interior surface is rinsed, being careful not to tip the pipet so far back that the mouth of the pipet gets wet.

Discard the rinse solution into an appropriate waste container.
