Transferring solution via standard bulb
Once you have drawn up the desired volume of solution and
removed the drop hanging from the tip, record the initial volume
of solution in the pipet.
To transfer the solution into the desired vessel, control
the flow of liquid by slowly rolling your thumb or finger off
the mouth of the pipet. Add solution until the appropriate volume
has been transferred. Touch the tip of the pipet to the wall of
the receiving vessel to remove any liquid from the outside of the
tip. Record the final volume in the pipet. The volume of liquid
transferred is equal to the final volume reading minus the initial
volume reading.
