Calorimeter assembly

Use a styrofoam cup and a well-fitting plastic lid or cork. The lid should have two holes in it. Put a thermometer or thermal probe through one hole and a stirring rod throught the other. Place the lid on the cup and position the rod and thermometer or probe so that they are near the bottom of the cup.
