The Center for the Arts is a resource for both the University community and Southwestern Wisconsin. Use of the facility is coordinated by the Director and is governed by the UW-Platteville Implementation Guide to Chapter UWS 21 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code. During the school year, the CFA is a very busy building and space is often not available. During the summer, the Heartland Festival is the primary tenant and space is also scarce.

whom do I contact?

University departments and organizations may contact the CFA staff at CFA@uwplatt.edu to request use of the Brodbeck Concert Hall or Lobby. A CFA staff member will make contact within three (3) days to accept or reject the request. If accepted. a confirmation is sent out and the Performance Services Manager makes contact to guide clients through various items to consider, such as technical needs, ticketing, and house management.

University departments and organizations may contact Amy Udelhofen, udelhofena@uwplatt.edu, to request use of the Choral (CFA 108) or Instrument (CFA 109) Rehearsal Rooms during the academic year. These spaces are used heavily by the Department of Performing & Visual Arts.

Non-University affiliated groups or individuals should contact the Markee Pioneer Student Center Reservation Office at 608.342.1451. Their staff will make the appropriate referrals and guide the groups/individuals through the liability and insurance requirements for using space on campus.
