SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIALS

This project was implemented due to the need for better communication among the different number of teams throughout our middle school building. During the spring of 1998, our staff assessed our strengths and barriers to the team development process. The following barriers were identified as key components that needed to be addressed: team meetings, team dynamics, team goals, communication, student management, and evaluation.

The Platteville team will be instrumental in the development of a team handbook to be used weekly during meeting times. Platteville team members will function as resources, liaisons for new staff members, coordinators of staff development activities, and evaluators of this project.
