Project Goal

To promote academic, social, and emotional success in students not showing academic progress within the current middle school setting.

Specific Objectives

1. To develop criteria for the identification of students who are to be apart of the Champ's program.

2. To develop the outline of the Champ curriculum to be used with our students.

3. To develop a schedule to allow the students to work with an at-risk advisor on a daily basis.

4. To develop a plan to engage the staff, on a long term basis, to address the needs of this "special" populaton of students.

5. To develop a plan to work with parents on a regular basis.

6. To examine existing curriculum.
