CONCLUSION

In the 1996-97 school year, we plan to implement mentoring and peer tutoring programs and to expand our current student recognition program. In a survey done at the 1996 Transescent Seminar, we acquired information from schools participating in such programs. We will use this knowledge as a resource in developing our plan. The attached appendices summarize the material we gathered. Each table lists schools participating in specific programs applicable to our school's needs.

In the summer of 1997, we recommend the district send two teams to the UW-Platteville Transescent Seminar focusing on team planning and advisor/advisee development programming. We also recommend that consideration be given to the hiring of a full-time at-risk teacher for the 1997-98 school year.
