Mission:

"Linking Education to the World of Work." The primary purpose of the Career Center is to educate and advise undergraduate, graduate, alumni, faculty and employers in developing, evaluating, and/or implementing career, educational and employment decisions and plans. The Career Center supports the mission, academic programs, and advancement of the institution.

To provide resources and networking opportunities to assist students with career, academic and personal goals using these learning outcomes:

  1. Learn the expectations, skills and value of participating in an internship/co-op or other experiential learning opportunities and related work experiences.
  2. Learn the procedures, processes and strategies of how to conduct a job search.
  3. Learn how to develop a resume and job search correspondence.
  4. Learn interviewing strategies and techniques and of other related professional image topics.
  5. Learn the importance of networking and utilizing personal, business, alumni, and print/electronic resources.
