How to identify employers looking for your major

First, login to your UWPioneer Career Network (PCN) account by clicking on UWPioneer Career Network (PCN) located on the left side of this page
Once you are logged in to your PCN account, then select the “Career Fairs and Workshops” tab.
Find the two “Fall 2009 Career Fair – UW-Platteville” days from the list of events and then select “Search Employers” on the far right side of the screen.
Here you will be able to search for employers by major and by those offering co-op/internships or full time positions.
To search based on your major, click on the add/remove button under the "Majors:" box. Select "All Majors", then select the college your major is in, select/click the box in front of your major and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "continue".
Click on "Search" and a list will appear with all of the employers who met your criteria and will be attending the career conference on that day.
Again, students are encouraged to attend ALL 2-DAYS! The UW-Platteville career fair events are broken down by the colleges; HOWEVER, some employers attending for engineering may also be interested in speaking with candidates from Business or English.

If you do not have a UWPioneer Career Network (PCN) account:

Click-on UWPioneer Career Network (PCN) on the left side of this page
Click on "UWPioneer Career Network Student" from the login box
At the main registration page, click-on “Click her to register!” to create your PCN account
Fill out the short profile and upload your resume when prompted
