Mission of the Behavioral Review and Recommendation Team

The Behavioral Review and Recommendation Team (BRRT) is dedicated to the identification of, evaluation of, and response to members of the university community whose behavior has raised concern indicating the potential for violence or the need for help.

Purpose of the Behavioral Review and Recommendation Team

The focused efforts of BRRT are to:

  • Assess situations of concern
  • Recommend and coordinate university response
  • Provide support and resources to help students and/or employees

The team accomplishes this by:

  • Providing a central collection point for anyone to report concerns related to behavior of UW-Platteville students and employees
  • Providing collaborative consultation and developing strategies to address concerns regarding students' well-being or behavior that is potentially harmful to self and/or others or is disruptive or threatening
  • Providing guidance and resources to faculty and staff on how to address at-risk behaviors they may encounter
