Applications for the 2010 RUSCH Program Available

We are now taking applications for the 2010 RUSCH cohort. RUSCH is a partnership of The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. RUSCH is designed for students who will have two years left in their undergraduate program at the end of this spring and intend to pursue an M.D. and practice medicine in Wisconsin’s rural or urban health professional shortage areas. Participation in the RUSCH program is intended to strengthen a student’s preparation for the UW School of Medicine and Public Health and its rural or urban training tracks --WARM (Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine) or TRIUMPH (Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health). This is an incredible opportunity for those of you who are interested in pursuing medicine with a commitment to practicing in the underserved areas. New office locations for Biology Department

Returning biology students will notice that all members of the Biology Department are in a new office location. Don't worry too much, we haven't moved far! Instead of being on the West half of the 2nd floor of Gardner Hall, we're now on the East half of both 2nd and 3rd floors of Gardner. A directory is posted outside of the department's main office--which is still located right in the middle of 2nd floor Gardner. In addition, you can go to the Faculty/Staff page on our website and select the person you're interested in to find the location of their new office.
