UW-Platteville is ranked 26th in the Brute – Adidas National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll, while Zach Chambers is ranked seventh individually at 141 pounds.
Chambers, who won his 100th career match while winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship Sunday, is one of three Pioneers who will compete at the NCAA III national championships March 2-3 at the Five Flags Center in Dubuque.
Joining Chambers will be sophomore Ryan Higgins (Oconomowoc) at 149 and freshman Jesse Milks (Rock City, IL/Dakota High School) at 157.
Chambers, a senior from Mineral Point, will make his third appearance in the national championships while Higgins is making his second.
