Ryan Higgins went 4-0 last weekend

UW-Platteville's Ryan Higgins earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week award for his performance last Saturday.

Higgins won the 149-pound championship and led UW-Platteville to the team title at the Spartan Matman Invitational in Manchester, Ind. Higgins won all four of his matches, including a 5-1 championship victory over Concordia's Joe Massman, who beat Higgins the previous weekend at North Central. Higgins won his first match by pin and beat the next three opponents by a combined 19-3.

The Pioneers are back in action Saturday at Lawrence University in a 7 p.m. match.
