Melissa Hillebrand became the sixth Pioneer ever to be awarded NCAA Division III all-American honors by the American Volleyball Coaches Assocation.
The junior outside hitter from Davenport, Iowa (West High School) earned honorable mention status from the AVCA.
With 476 kills, Hillebrand recorded the third-most in Pioneer history. She also led the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference during the regular season in kills.
Previously, Hillebrand earned first team all-WIAC and NCAA III All-Midwest Region honors.
The Pioneers were 24-15 and earned an NCAA III tournament berth. Coach Deb Schulman's club loses just seniors Lisa Bell and Steph Tronnes for the 2010 season.
