Eighth-ranked UW-Oshkosh won its 14th straight match and 42nd consecutive game by beating UW-Platteville 30-14, 35-33, 30-22 Wednesday night in the Kolf Sports Center.

The Titans improved to 14-1 overall, while the Pioneers fell to 11-5, with two losses to the Titans. Wednesday was the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener for both schools.

Lisa Bell and Rachel Chapman each had nine kills for the Pioneers, who seriously pushed UW-Oshkosh's game winning streak in the second game before falling 35-33. Leah Rosenbaum had 17 kills for the Titans, whose 42 straight wins are the sixth-most in NCAA III history.

The Pioneers play host to Wartburg Friday at 7 p.m. in Williams Fieldhouse.
