Kelly Laschinger is the 5th UWP All-American

UW-Platteville's Kelly Laschinger earned honorable mention honors NCAA Division III All-America by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The senior setter from Verona compiled a school-record 5,004 career assists, including 1,690 this fall. She led the young Pioneers to the WIAC championship match and into the NCAA III playoffs. UW-Platteville finished 24-13 this season.

Laschinger is the fifth Pioneer to achieve all-America status. Tammy Dietz was a second team pick in 1991, Joanna Carlson third team and Andrea Coffman honorable mention in 2004, and Dana Alf honorable mention in 2005 and first team last year.
