UW-Platteville's Marcia Taddy won the 800-meter College Invitational race at the Kansas Relays in a school-record 2:08.88 Saturday.
Taddy beat two runners from Minnesota, one from Missouri and one from Seton Hall in her seeded race. Her time was not only a NCAA Division III national qualifying mark but was also a Division I qualifier. Taddy's time would have also placed her fifth in the elite invitational run and was the fifth-best mark during the entire meet, which included 76 competitors in the 800.
