The UW-Platteville men's track and field team finished fifth at the Augustana Meet of Champions Saturday afternoon.
The Pioneers had no individual champions but had two runner-up finishes. Ben Zizis was second in the 110-meter hurdles in 14.73, while Corey Digman threw the discus 154-4 to grab second. Both are season-best peformances.
Taking third were Matt Bischolff in the 200-meter dash in 22.18; Nick Fulton in the 10,000 in 31:37.76; and Spencer Hollis in the pole vault at 15-1.5.
Augustana won its own meet with 215 points, followed by UW-Whitewater with 174.5, UW-Oshkosh 171.5, UW-Stevens Point 167, UW-Platteville 93, Carthate 89, Luther 36, St. Ambrose 30 and Central 5.
